The Sever was inspired by the now legendary Clinch Pick, but has undergone several evolutions to become what it is now. A pikal knife in a small and compact package, making it ideal for every day defensive carry.
The blade on the Sever is offered in two configurations. The single edge version gives you a sharpened Pikal edge with a Mune Ridge – that is, the spine is given a convex bevel with a distal taper – giving a good balance of reinforcement and penetration to the point. The double edge variant as it suggests, features a full length Pikal edge and an almost full supporting edge.
The handle shape is probably the biggest influence taken from the Clinch Pick. The short, stubby style handle gives the user a very secure grip, while still being very compact and easy to conceal carry. Probably most importantly, its very comfortable to carry Inside the Waist Band (IWB). For many discerning users this is an important aspect.
The Sever is no doubt a defensive knife for the serious practitioner who demands performance, comfort and a bit of style.
